ANNUAL AWARDS RECOGNITION
The Chamber’s Annual Awards Recognition kicks off our calendar year with a dinner, installation of new Board members and officers, and a business awards presentation that recognizes the outstanding achievements of our Chamber members.

BUSINESS & COMMUNITY EXPO The Chamber’s annual 2-day Business & Community EXPO will be held on February 25-26 at the Wauconda High School. The event features over 70 exhibitors as well as a craft show hosted by the American Legion Post 911.

CANDLELIGHT BOWL FUNDRAISER The Chamber’s 2nd Annual Candlelight Bowl will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 3-D Bowl in Island Lake. All proceeds from the event, including a Silent Auction, benefit the Chamber Scholarship Program.

ARBOR DAY TREE & SHRUB SALE
The Chamber works in conjunction with the Village of Wauconda and Acres Group to co-host an annual Arbor Day Tree and Shrub Sale for the Wauconda community.
The event is held the first Saturday following Arbor Day. The event also includes an Arbor Day poster contest that is open to local school students.

ANNUAL GOLF OUTING
The Chamber hosts an Annual Golf Outing every June to bring local business members together for an afternoon of fun and camaraderie. The event includes lunch, dinner and an awards presentation. This year’s event will be announced at a later date.

FARMERS’ MARKET
The Chamber’s Farmers’ Market begins the third week of June and continues through the first week of October, every Thursday afternoon from 3 to 7 pm on Main Street, from Liberty Street to the Village Hall. Fresh produce, flowers, herbs, spices, baked goods, and a myriad of other products, plus live entertainment including local musicians, a pet parade and a scarecrow building contest, comprise the market.

IPRA CHAMPIONSHIP RODEO
The Chamber sponsors the IPRA Championship Rodeo the second weekend in July. Since 1964 the rodeo has entertained fans from near and far with cowboys, horses, bulls, food vendors, beer tent, and live bands mixing for an exciting annual event.
This year's event will be held on Saturday, July 14 and Sunday July 15.

JAMMIN’ ON MAIN STREET DANCE
Saturday, September 1st, brings the Annual “Jammin’ On Main” Street Dance, sponsored by the Chamber and hosted by the Village of Wauconda. Main Street is closed from 6 pm until 11 pm, and filled with residents enjoying a live band while raising money and gathering groceries for the Wauconda/Island Lake Food Pantry.
